Texas Capitol Rotunda

This is an overhead view of the Open-Air Rotunda at the Texas State Capitol Extension in Austin. The Rotunda is patterned after the Rotunda in the Capitol and has the same diameter, 60 ft. The design on the floor mirrors the Capitol rotunda ceiling. Bronze letters spell out the word "TEXAS" and surround a star. Here is another picture of the Rotunda.
