Headstones in the Confederate Field, at the Texas State Cemetery in Austin, Texas. All sections of the Confederate Field are set aside for the burial and reinterment of military heroes and notable military soldiers and officers. There are more than 2,200 Confederate veterans and their spouses buried at the Cemetery.
