This is an interior view of St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, N.Y. Construction on the cathedral began in 1858, and was completed in May, 1879. The cathedral is the largest gothic-style Catholic Cathedral in the United States. It seats about 2,200 people and has over 3 million visitors every year.
