This is Venture, a large bright red sculpture outside the Bank of America Plaza in Dallas, Texas. Russian-American sculptor Alexander Liberman created Venture with Cor-Ten steel. Liberman is well known for pioneering the technique of assembling and welding pieces of junk steel into large-scale sculptures. Alexander Liberman died in November, 1999 at the age of 87.
