Aerial image of the Old Red Courthouse in Dallas, Texas; this picture was taken from the top of Reunion Tower. Originally functioning as the Dallas County Courthouse, today it houses the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitor Information Center. The building was constructed in 1893 in the Romanesque style (resembling a castle) with Pecos red sandstone, Texas red granite, and Arkansas blue granite.

Originally, a huge clock tower was on top, but in 1919 the tower was removed because the reverberations from the three-ton bell were so loud that some feared they would damage the building's structure.

The building is located on Houston Street near Dealey Plaza.
